Graduation

I am so proud of my husband! He graduated from medical school on Sunday. It was a great moment to hear them call his name and place his hood. Now the residency adventure begins. We are nervous and excited at the same time. Danny is very modest and would never say what a big deal it is that he got into orthopaedics. Not only is he going to be an orthopaedic surgeon, he is going to be one based on his abilities and hard work, not because someone made a call for him or because he knew someone at the program. This is what I am most proud of! Not that having connections is a bad thing but the fact that he made it all on his own is such a great accomplishment. Where he was accepted is ranked in the top 2% of all MD/DO orthopaedic residencies for academics. These next 5-6 months will be tough but worth it. In the end, we will have a second sweet baby boy and Danny will be settled in and ready to introduce the boys and I to our new home. (in the snow, yikes!)

Danny with his proud parents

Here you can see I am very pregnant. I had an ultrasound earlier in the week and our sweet baby is doing well and has everything he is suppose to. He was shy like his big brother and not very cooperative with taking pictures.

Danny was excited even though he acted like it wasn't a big deal.

Waiting for his name to be announced

Dr. Daniel Morris

YEAH DANNY!!! We are SO very proud of him! And, he even looks super smart in his little outfit. ;) Don't worry, I think y'all are going to enjoy Michigan. Everyone that I know from that area of Michigan says that it is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Yes, it will be cold in the winter, but anywhere in the northern Mid-West or North East is going to be cold and have snow! It will be a fun, new experience! :) We can't WAIT to see you, Fletch and DR. DANIEL MORRIS in just a few weeks! Love you all tons!
