Rocking Chair

While I was home a few weeks ago, my dad and I discovered an old rocking chair at his house. Dad says he remembers it being in his house growing up and thinks Nanny may have used it. Mom says she received it as a gift from my Aunt Ester when Mark was born. Not sure where the chair came from originally but I knew I wanted it for Fletcher's nursery so my sweet Pop took it apart and shipped it to Vegas. Now, Danny had to put it back together:)

The chair was a pea (1970s) green and who knows what all colors before that so there was a bit of sanding involved. Here it is on the table in lots of pieces.

After a few choice words, a cardboard box that had to endure some hammering to let out frustration, and a smashed hand, the chair is together with new screws and looking GREAT!!! Thanks Husband!!
Can't wait to rock and read to our boy!
