McCain/Palin

I couldn't resist posting this cartoon. Living in Vegas is fun but there are alot of Obama 08' supporters. For instance, our next door neighbors are fans of his and they seem to hide whenever we are outside. Our only interaction with them is the day I was walking Lucy and he stopped me to tell me that he didn't want our trashcan on his side of the driveway even though it saved the garbage man from having to get off the truck twice. I hope he knows that when Obama wins, he will be giving his hard earned money to that guy! At work yesterday, one of my co-workers said "I am voting for Obama because I am a democrat (like it's the cool thing)" I told her I wasn't and she said " Yea, I forgot your husband is going to be a doctor. We'll never make that much money anyway so I don't care" I had to bite my tongue. I cringe at the thought of us working so hard and we will not be able to have any of the benefits. Why are we rewarding people who do not have the drive to go and get it for themselves!!! I understand that there are people out there who need help. However, I do not feel sorry for you if your house is foreclosed because you are driving cars you cannot afford, you're going on vacations, you are wearing expensive clothes and deciding which credit card to put your name brand dog food on at Petsmart. (I witnessed this lady with at least 20 credit cards trying to decide which one wasn't maxed out so she could pay for her $103 worth of expensive cat and dog food) I would love to sit around and do nothing and have someone pay our bills but that's not the way it works. I believe if you can afford a vaction home why shouldn't you. Another coworker of mine said she hates Palin because of her red highheel shoes. Are you serious? Anyway, I am going today to cast my vote (may I add it will be at the grocery store. Lets hope it makes it to Washington)
