Adam, Ashley, Danny, and I all packed up and drove to Tempe,AZ for the Georgia vs Arizona State football game. (of course Lucy came to because she is too high maintance for anyone to babysit) The afternoon drive started off great! The weather was beautiful and we were so excited. After about hour number 4, we all started getting restless. Ashley and I were in the back seat watching a movie and the boys were driving. We stopped about a thousand times due to Ashley's constant need to go to the bathroom. Finally, we started getting closer and our excitment returned. The first night, we got dressed and went out on the town. Tempe is so cute!! It is a college town like back home. The main street is full of resturants and bars. We went out to eat and walked around but wanted to get back to the hotel to get rested up for the bulldogs. We were not prepared at all for what was coming. Saturday morning Ashley and I get our hair fixed and dresses on and were ready to go when we got the news about the weather. We only thought Las Vegas was hot. When we stepped outside, it felt like we were going into an oven!! As you can see from the pictures, we are all cute and clean at first then hair goes up and sweat comes down. Tailgating was fun. Danny and I felt a little akward saying "Go Dawgs" since we are "War Eagle" people but we did it. Due to the heat, we opted not to light the grill and instead eat later. Danny decided before we even left for Arizona that he would pack neutral colors to wear to the game due to his constant (may I add strange) idea that everyone wants to fight people they don't know. As you can see from the pictures everyone except Danny is wearing Georgia black and red. On the way to tailgating, an Arizona State fan yells at Danny "Pick a ******* team" We all laughed so hard due to Danny's planning on what he would wear so he would NOT get in a fight!! Overall, the trip was a success and Georgia pulled off a great win. I drove and the boys rode in the back on our way home. Ashley and I thought this would be better since we were determined to have our picture made with a cactus and the boys didn't want to stop. We also stopped at Willow Beach,AZ on the drive home and the view was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. This road trip is one I will always remember!
